Chemistry FeedBacks

This school year of chemistry went by quicker than I thought. Overall, I enjoyed being in this class and having Mr. Coleman as my chemistry teacher. This class was not hard, the only things that you had to do was study for friday quizzes, show up for lab, and do a few projects and a few problems out the book. The things that I liked about this class is taking notes was not difficult to do, you didn't have much to write because it was all printed out for us and it wasn't really hard to study from it when it comes to taking the friday quizzes. I also enjoyed all the labs that we have done. My favorite one was the one with bubbles and there was one with the fire that set the alarm off. I like the lab when we set our hands on fire as well. There isn't anything that I didn't like about this class. I enjoyed having you as a teacher Mr. Coleman

pH scale

The pH scale is used for measuring the acidity or alkalinity of substance. the numerical scale used for pH is 0-14. The number that is defined as neutral on the pH scale is 7.0. The acids on the pH scale are found at the top starting with 0 to all the numbers less than 7. The bases are at the bottom starting with all numbers less than 7 up to 14. An example of acid is vinegar and stomach acid. An example of a base is lye (sodium Hydroxide) and Ammonia.
